from Outside the Box

In the digital age, much of our information comes from inside the box of our computers. The view from the outside into this box is what fascinates me as I read the words of writers and see the world through the lens of a photographer's camera.

Vermeer painting in New York loan I have to be honest:  I’m not a big fan of the Dutch Greats.  I mean, I like them, but in now way have I ever fallen in love with any of the workds of Vermeer, Rembrant, or others of that era. When I was in Vancouver a few weeks back, I went to a Dutch Masters exhibit at the Vancouver Museum of Art and enjoyed it, but wasn’t enthralled like I was with the works of Emily Carr. Still, if I could get to New York to see this painting in real life.  I would.
