from Outside the Box

In the digital age, much of our information comes from inside the box of our computers. The view from the outside into this box is what fascinates me as I read the words of writers and see the world through the lens of a photographer's camera.
I played tourist yesterday and visited the US Capitol.   I took over 100 pictures yesterday, but I certainly won’t bore you with all of them.  The walk to the Senate side from Union Station was lovely, although humid.  I managed to get there before the second round of rain hit.
I chose this photo to share because it shows one of the things I love about Washington:  the Multicultural Side of things, surely what the Founding Fathers envisioned - a variety of wonderful people, holding on to some of their cultural traditions while also embracing American traditions.
If you look closely at the photo, you will see THREE wedding parties taking photos to mark their special day.
Have a great one, folks!
